Loggia dei cavalieri \u2013 The Knights&#8217; Lodge<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Just a few steps from the square, where the Roman-era cardo and decumanus meet, you find one of Treviso&#8217;s iconic symbols: the <strong>Loggia dei Cavalieri<\/strong>. It is an original irregular four-sided brick building with a large violet granite column in the center. In communal times, it was a space strictly reserved for the city&#8217;s aristocracy, who held conventions, meetings and games there.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Things to see in Treviso: the Duomo<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Built on the ruins of early Christian buildings, the <strong>Cathedral of St. Peter the Apostle<\/strong>, <strong>Cathedral of Treviso<\/strong>, has origins dating back to the year 1000, but was demolished and rebuilt in neoclassical style in the 18th century.
